New key programmed keep getting low battery message - Bavrian - 27-09-2019

Hi have a strange problem programmed a new key to bmw f10 it keeps saying fob battery low even changed battery to new one the message still stays and doesn't go away

any fix for this or which line to code out the error on cas or kombi the key works fine to unlock car and start car

key works fine even from a distance to lock and unlock the car

I had the same when I first got the error.
Replaced the battery with a brand new one, OEM, even.
Message still there

I read somewhere that you need to lock, unlock the car for like 5-10 times for the ecu to recognise that the battery si perfectly charged.

Do you have your spare key? Does it have a good battery? Use it once and the fault should go away, hopefully smile

all sorted now very strange got another brand new battery and message is no longer there

must of been a dodgy battery

I did try the spare it idn't remove the message the only thing that was worked was getting another second new battery then the message has gone since and worked fine for a few days
