ZF8HP45 values help - sqorpius - 03-10-2019 Hi all, Got a question regarding the filling pressure and rapid filling time for the ZF specialists out here. I've got the following values read out from my ZF8HP45 tranny, connected to a N55 engine (435i F36), and was wondering if they still are within ZF margins. Or anything odds shows up, let me know! Many thanks in advance. Filling pressure, Clutch A -167.00 MBAR Filling pressure, Clutch B -120.00 MBAR Filling pressure, Clutch C 39.00 MBAR Filling pressure, Clutch D 108.00 MBAR Filling pressure, Clutch E 146.00 MBAR Rapid filling time, Clutch A 29.00 MS Rapid filling time, Clutch B 33.00 MS Rapid filling time, Clutch C 16.00 MS Rapid filling time, Clutch D 5.00 MS Rapid filling time, Clutch E 26.00 MS Many thanks! RE: ZF8HP45 values help - ferbmw - 03-10-2019 Here you have some technical info I got some time ago from ZF. Hope this helps RE: ZF8HP45 values help - sqorpius - 03-10-2019 Thanks! But it seems the values inside the PDF only show for the 6HP ZF, not 8HP, or are they the same? RE: ZF8HP45 values help - ferbmw - 03-10-2019 (03-10-2019, 16:06 PM)sqorpius Wrote: Thanks! But it seems the values inside the PDF only show for the 6HP ZF, not 8HP, or are they the same? I used these values after a gearbox reset of adapation values for my F30 with ZF 8HP. It worked. RE: ZF8HP45 values help - Enabled - 03-10-2019 If you read them with ISTA, generally ISTA tells you the ranges. RE: ZF8HP45 values help - weby - 04-10-2019 Rapid filling time under 10ms = perfect 10 - 20ms = good / ok 20 - 30 ms = warning 30-50 ms = bad 50 ms = dead! did you use the lastest EGS software? RE: ZF8HP45 values help - sqorpius - 04-10-2019 Nope, car is still on original i-level. Do you suggest doing i-level update? Also if you didn`t have te latest version of EGS software , you can update it with Winkfp or ISTA-P . The easy mode is with ISTA-P |
