Create SSD File VIN Checkdigit help NCS - ExiizZ - 08-10-2019
Hello
actually I am trying to built up a SSD File for a car, but I need help at the check digit of the VIN Long.
I found some example SSD file and every VIN has a check digit as last character.
How can I get the check digit of a specific VIN without reading it by NCS. The Car is far away so no way to get it from there.

Another Question is there a tool to built up faster a SSD-File than typing everything?

Yes you are right, it is "U" ! I don´t know a tool which is building the SSd file.
But when you conect to a car with NCS, go to the "WORK" folder and look inside the FA.txt.
Take this, its nearly the same to a SSD file, have only to change some small things.

Yes you are right, it is "U" ! I don´t know a tool which is building the SSd file.
But when you conect to a car with NCS, go to the "WORK" folder and look inside the FA.txt.
Take this, its nearly the same to a SSD file, have only to change some small things.

You can see vin+check digit in main window of NCS.
