Some first VAS 6154a clones were just 5054a clones wrapped in a new case
Any new VAS 6154a clones (over USB) now recommended that can work with ODIS-S and ODIS-E on Windows 10 x64?

There is no clone of this device, all are just chinese inventions or some 5054 in a new case. So you can forget about it.

What's your problem with the chinese clone of VAS5054 with ODIS-S/E? Do you know the patch Softing folder of VAS5054?

Also please correct your english so that we all can understand you.
P.S. In case you did not understand, please read a little the problems of clones vas5054a from last years in this forum. Those have been discussed a lot of times in many topics. Is never about some shit replacement of files from older version to newer one. That is the least of your problems with a clone 5054A.

Yes, I know all about patching Softing Folder for 5054a, but that wasnt my question. My 5054a works fine with ODIS/S+E.
I'm asking about the VAS 6154s....

Thanks for this. You see a lot on websites (VAS 6154 clones), but I'm not convinced on any of them!
I may just invest in a genuine VAS 6154...

I have chinese 6154a. Works like j2534 on Porshe Piwis 3.
Odis Service and Engineering works only with genuine 6154.

My experience with clones: with ODIS SERVICE, sometimes serial numbers are banned and you can no longer go online, on ODIS ENG you can only do codings or load dataset, if you try to flash some modules, almost certainly you will brick it.

There's nothing like chinese clone of 6154 or 6154a! Beware of these crap devices, it's not worth to buy it because you will go crazy getting it working. Check the e-bay, sometimes you can find a great deal on original 6154 there.

also be careful for blocked Serial numbers for used items.
