VDO CDR 500 radio for Opel - snyper - 16-10-2019
I have a VDO CDR500 radio that is definately faulty. Sometimes the volume just goes up by itself suddenly. So after failing to fix it, I got another similar radio from a junk yard, but the serial numbers are all faded, and one would only make them out if they had duper powers of imagination.
How do I get the serial code is my question. I tried on bench with Carprog, no joy, by OBD, got incomprehensible information which was similar to the info i got when i tried it on my current radio whose code i Know. Find attached screenshot.

Nothing is faulty. CDR500 2 variante, VDO and Delco. That in carprog so for delco with tms mcu. Your radio is with eeprom 24c16 open radio and read eeprom
