F56 retrofit alarm system - maninblack - 17-10-2019
Hi,
i want to retrofit an oem alarm system on my F56.
I connected LIN from FZD to SINE and, of course 12V and ground.
Then i added 302 to FA and Coded fzd.
But it didnt work.
Do i Need a new fzd?
Or has fzd with alarm another Software and i have to Flash it?

You need a new FZD with ultrasonic sensors and the actual LIN bus.

Thanks for your answere.
I did some further research.
Maybe i should go for a F57 SINE,
cause in F57 the siren is the lin master.
I'm only interested in acoustical lock confirmation.
So i can leave out the ultrasonic sensors.

I'm doing the complite retrofit of alarm system on my F56.
I guess acoustical confirmation couldn't work if you don't change door latches.
they are different on alarm equipped cars, as you can see on realoem.

Hm i believe 8TG "Diebstahlsicherung" is not 302 "Alarmanlage"
Next days i should get an f33 CANSINE - i'll report here
