[Problem] VTG X5 E70 4.8 - Alekz - 24-10-2019
We just code the entire car with ISTA P (3.65) and when it finish, in VTG Module do the Promgram and goes check and then on Code gets the X...
Finish other modules but no VTG, now the E70 X5 when starts get the 4x4, ABS, Traction Control, Parking lights and get this failures:
Launch:
54C4 VTG
5F3A DSC
5F39 DSC
The DTC can be cleared, but when i start the car they cames again... anyone can help me with this?

These faults for actuator gear worn out.
Is clicking or clunking noise when engine turn off from the transfer case area?
If yes, then the transfer case actuator gear worn out. You need the repair kit to rebuild transfer case actuator.
Here is the P/N 27 10 2 413 711
Or you just buy after market gear.

Try to flash the module via WinKFP, then code with Ncsexpert

I think that flash with WinKFP and code with ncsexpert is more viable... is there a way to do it with esys?

It is known problem that VTG module gets "broken" even after diagnostic.
Battery reset helps for that. I have no idea what causes that problem. Anyway, cure is easy
