BMW remote tuning - PsevDo - 16-01-2022
hey all ct users!
i have several workshops in my city, where i am doing remote coding by vpn
sometimes they need to do engine tuning, dpf egr and etc. i must go to another place
as i am work with bitbox and tgflash, both of them need only enet cable connected to car
but i cant see remote car in app, i thing because vpn ip is not 168.254.x.x?
maybe someone know how to fix this?

Tgflash not work via vpn...
Tgflash try ping the car.. if answer not fast.. tgflash can drope the conenction.
I don't think you're aware of the basics there is a strong doubt in me about your work you have little knowledge.

I know some persons which uses bitbox to provide remote tuning, by vpn.
I am just searching solution to make work faster.

Flashing DME via VPN great idea... Just an remindern if the VPN fails DME will probaly be bricked. Its not the same like Flashing I Level via VPN with ISTA or Esys.

All ECUs like MDG1 + MEVD + EDC17 can be tuned remotely. Even if it crashes, it's recoverable.

What I use for this cases, takeover the remote PC with RDP (via VPN on the modem) and let the mechanic connect the hardware to the car. Never flash over the internet.
