Have a msd80 and want to upgrade to msd81. Can read isn and change to donor 81 already. Someone said after all that's needed is to delete adaptations in dme, with diagnostic tool, and then code injectors and should be good to go. Original DME is from 2007 335i, donor if from a 2008 335i. Is that really all that's needed?
If not I guess will have to do coding with ncs expert or istap? Then do injectors.
Any input or advice is apricated, take care.

i flashed with winkfp, did injectors numbers and reset adaptations.
flashing is good, youll have right vin number etc.

It is best to reset working hours prior to coding.

Since both original and donor come from same body/chassis then, you can just read ISN from MSD80 and write to MSD81. Then do programming and coding. Finally, do injector coding. Now, the proper way would be to do working hours reset before doing the programming/coding/injector coding.

I read isn from new ecu and added it to Cas and everything work 100%
