Strange problem with ICOM and newest ISTA - KaiO - 20-01-2022
hi mates,
I have here a really strange problem, that I have 'nt had before:
I have two laptops with Sedoy's ISTA 4.33.20 and an ICOM A1 updated with the newest firmware.
The ICOM is working flawlessly on one laptop, but on the other laptop it shows "Firmware" and no connection is possible.
Both laptops have the same ISTA version!!
The ICOM is updated without any problems and it shows the right firmware version on the web interface.
Any hints??

Need to install latest ICOM package firmware in both laptop, try, I solved it like this

Yes as mentioned. I would install the msi package on both laptops.

ok, right now I'm installing ISTA from scratch and then I will try with installed msi package again.
In fact I only installed the msi package on the laptop which is working with the ICOM...
Will see...

Unfortunately I didn't save the key and it was lost in forum crash, so I need it again.

ISTA looks at the registry for firmware version. Install firmware on laptop using the MSI installer so reg entries are correct.

you all were right, after installing msi package laptop connects to ICOM. Never had this before. Thanks to all. Solved!
