I have a costumer with a Cross Touran 2008, when he change gears it seems that the gear does not engage and then it locks hard, shacking the whole car. He tested in an Vw dealer and he said that the transmission ecu does not communicate with the diagnostic and they need to replace it. Has anybode repair those kinds of things to give me a help on how to reprogram it or what to replace in the ecu?

What engine does the touran have?Is this six speed gearbox or seven speed gearbox?

Hello,
it is a Cross Touran (2008) 1.4Tsi, the gearbox's ecu is 02E325025AMZRR, I think it is the seven speed gearbox but I am not sure. If I reprogram it, do you think that problem will be solved? Or it is located in the mechanical parts of the ecu?

2008 02e, should be a 6 speed dsg.
