EDC 17 Kess V2 - JT6 - 31-01-2022
Hello Friends,
I will make Chiptuning at VW Passat,EDC17CP14, 2.0TDI, Enginecode CFG
But the guy will not remove the Ecu.
Has anyone read the ID with Kess V2 Clone and Write then a file?
Are there Problems?
Has Anyone Kess V2 Databank ?

You can read it kess clone. But I don't recommend it! I'll open the unit first and make a full backup. Then you can experiment on this unit with OBD! 10 of 10 when you write it falls !!!

you can write edc17s ok with kess clone and vr file, but be warned, writing took clone kess almost an hour, so make sure you have good battery and booster attached but, like david above said, it's much safer to remove ecu for full read, goodluck.

Bricked ecu can be repaired on the bench. I also had a procedure written, but with the loss of data due to the hacked site, all my posts, time, thanks and reputations were lost..

Kess v2 2.80 works well written today 2x and successfully. You need a good source of voltage.
At kess 2.47 it still fell.
Maybe it will help someone.
