Hi all,
anyone know if it is possible to download maps for the MGU unit? I want to update them via USB.

If your MGU is genuine you should be able to get free maps for 3 years after vehicle purchase. Create an account on bmw connected drive website, you will have access to a software called BMW download manager and you can use that program to download maps and put them on USB
