Old software , read with Kess ? , bad read - use MS4X Dev Group Flasher and normal K-Dcan cable , flash your ECU with newest software like 0110C6 - its inside TXT , then read again and post here .

When I read from the dev flash I wrote that it is not possible to quote this Ecu I also found an Ecu ms42 but it was not possible for me to read or write to it with cable k + dcan Thank you .

You dont understand what im talking about , the file you readed with KESS is not complete , it does not read all maps to make your request working . Ive did tons of ms42 ms43 with MS4X dev FLASHER even on bench with KDcan INPA/ISTA cable and does not have any issues . If you want somebody to help you you have to TRY to read it properly .

I have one issue with MS42.
1998 328i
Ms4X flasher not read, unsupported ecu, but kess read.
I dont remember what is the original soft there.
Im not sure if i brick the ecu or not, but i open the ecu, read it over bootmode with kess.
Then use MS4X site to download the latest soft, write it over bootmode with kess, then Ms4x flasher supports the ecu and can read/write as usual
After that i make immo off and everything work.
