Softclose motor in drivers side moving, but door does nothing

Do you have fault codes related to locking system doors or anything ? That would be a start. Go to each door and activate with scan tool and see if you can see them moving. You must assist the lock so the sensor sees it closing then motor kicks in and takes over the rest of the lock movement. ( you do not need to close the door)

As far as I know, the soft close automatic cannot be diagnosed. the soft close automatic evaluates its status itself. is the bowden cable properly hooked into the door lock? I would check that first
