Tool for opening Eprom file [Opel Security Code] - chillaaa - 29-03-2022
Hey guys,
I need the security code of my Opel. I need to program a new key. I already saved the Eprom file from the instrument cluster with Opcom. Now Im looking for a tool to read and find the security code.
Ive tried to open the file with carprog but I couldnt get the tool to open it without having the proper hardware.

Its an Opel Astra G 1998. Opcom didnt show me the security code. Or do I have to do more than just scanning the ECU (pushing special buttons etc)?

Where did you read astra g instrument cluster has pin code? Maybe in someone's dreams.
Motor ecu and immo, that's it.

You read dash. There is no immo stored in dash on this opel.

If you have carprog try to read it from ECU.
Immo Box have it in MCU ( also can read MCU if is motorola with carprog ) but you need to take it off from car.
