Convert NBTEVO ID4 to ID5/6 - Kartveli77 - 09-04-2022
I upgraded NBTEVO I 4 to ID5/6 and they all work fine (I only swapped HU and monitor is from ID4), but when I get in and turn on the ignition, the monitor stays black from time to time, but you hear the radio or music, only the monitor is black, after a long press on the speaker button makes a restart and the picture is there.
What can I do to ensure that the monitor always comes on?

Reflash the radio to 18-03.

Best is to reflash to 18-03 istep, 18-03+ u can experience black screen/reboots etc.. ive flashed over 100 units with 18-03 , no issue whatsover till now

It simply does not support anymore apix1 screens.
There are two solutions as mentioned in posts before:
1. Flash 18-03 iLevel
2. Use apix2 screen

Its documented on this forum. Full APIX1 support was removed from the BTLD I believe.
