ASD RETROFITTED AND CODED, NO SOUND ASD - Drimacus - 19-04-2022
Hi
I retrofitted HK and ASD on my car.
HK AMPT with asd support.
ESYS coded HK and ASD without problems editing FA to f31 340i
Unfortunately i have no sound from ASD.
HK work perfectly
Any hint?

i made hu codes in fdl, cause there is no fa code for asd

Do you have error code in ISTA? ASD not activated....

no errors on ista at all, the only thing i found is about RAD_ON
According to diagrams, ASD ha two RAD ON,
One from HK, on pin 7, and one from HU on pin 13.
I checked both
The one on HK is present,
the one from hu is not present and pin 13 is not populated.
My car is a f31 07/12
i wired a cable from pin 13 a42*1b (hu) to pin 10 A233 (ASD)
Nothing changes.

RAD_ON goes from HU pin13 to ASD pin10 and ASD pin7 go to AMP pin2. The HU switches ASD on and ASD switches on AMP.
Normaly you have error in ISTA when ASD coded correctly and don't work.

i have no errors at all.
wiring is correct.
is there a way to verify if rad_on from hu is working?

If RAD_ON working you will have upper 7 voltage on PIN 13 from HU.

From CIC to NBT EVO retrofit. Have same problem last time with my EVO retrofit in F10. Most people had this problem and has used 30B for this.
Other write it is coding. I have coded all option but no success.
I used signal from phantom power on antenna amplifier.
If you use 30B end up with crack in speaker at starting.
