Xentry no communication with Engine Module - Liteace - 21-04-2022
Anyone know why Xentry + C4 sd connect (genuine) wont communicate with the engine control unit (ecu /pcm) on a 2008 Sprinter w906.
It will communicate with all the other modules, is there a special cable needed?

maybe ecu is defect. if ecu is good than you don't need any extra cables. check if ecu gets power. or send me teamviwer and I can take a look and guide you.

I manged to get communication every time with the very old clone gold autocom, autocom software and also delphi software so I dont think the problem is the ecu, very strange how xentry + sd wont

Your issue is not normal. Have you done anything to xentry?

No, I do nothing to Xentry, I have used it on many many Mercedes and this i the 1st time I have had a problem

This is the onscreen error message BUT as I said before xentry will communicate will all the other modules

but don't ask me to support that.
afaik,
i ever experienced with das 9.890 error.
1. my obd2 cable error > i replace and it is okay
2. wrong mcf definition of the ecu cable, is with a different cable than i use. i edit and add, and it works
