Audi RMC AV input? - FandaTDI - 04-05-2022
Hi,
trying to find out ways to retrofit carplay/android auto/mirroring "boxes",... in A4 2017 with just RMC(without navi). I know about the solution via USB (need to change "charging only" USB to legacy USB, etc.) but what about e.g.Mirascreen(I´ve the white one with HDMI and "classic" AV out also...) without changing the USB socket?
What I´ve found(in Elsa not mentioned...), pins 9 a 10 in the green connector(T12) to the RMC unit should be FBAS in(and in the same connector audio inputs), so this could be also the way, am I right?
And if I am right, how to enable(/switch to) AV input in infotainment? Unit number is 8W0035824B.

This unit is not RMC - MIB2 STD. Change to MHS and usb ports too. You will get Android Auto and CarPlay. Video is just for camera - not for players
