I have changed the instrument cluster because of a water flood, and i need to code the keys.

You need to pair with car 1st of all, but you cannot do that anymore with scrapyard dash.
Buy new dash and pair online

And need online ABS coding. Big pain in the ass

Lupu is right.. no more used dash adopt online anymore , only brand new(virgin) or by special autorization and aproval from vag ..  thay probably figure out there was too many dashes flooded by water hahaha

All manufacturers have long been trying to squeeze the used part market out. GM has done this with the Global A structure, where you can't (or it is very difficult) to use a used module.

The "Right to repair" proponents have basically won, so now the manufacturers have to find another way to screw the independent repair shops.

Sad but true, and you will see more of this in the future I believe.

I think in vag was the case as u all know virtual cockpit or some JC was imposible to manipulate odo and only trick was to code lower milage dashboard online or find compatable part no. for adjustment, exchange it and done.. at least I did a few like this biggrin
