Volvo fh16 660 - ed209trucks - 14-09-2014
Hi,
I have a Volvo fh16 660 2007
from idle to 10,000 revs it shakes like it has a misfire but does not.
I was told it may be the vibration damper (pulley) on the crank at the front, has anyone else had this experience with this?
I don`t really want to change this if it is not the problem too expensive.

i wood see on the drive shaft on the bearings
4 in front and 4 in the back of the shaft
take a pray bar and see for slack

I would suggest a diagnostic test with cylinder cut out test maybe low compression on cylinder at low idle did have similiar problem before.[img]images/smilies/rofl.gif[/img]

Problem solved.
it was the duel mass flywheel.
