Help with coding new G80 laserlights - sbm007 - 26-05-2022 Hello all! I have had a unlucky week and my right headlight on my G80 M3 has been damaged due to a rock/stone (light still works, but lens/glass is cracked). So I have bought a new replacement laserlight from BMW. Does anyone know which steps to perform to code this headlight to the car? I have never done this before but I was going to try the following: Step 1 - Review software CAFD version in E-Sys for left headlight Step 2 - Flash same CAFD to right headlight, so both are same software version Step 3 - Calculate test plan in ISTA and follow steps Anything else missing? PS: I have only ISTA and E-Sys but no flashing data (I will download flash data of course once I know CAFD version)... also I have no ICOM just ENET + battery charger. Any advice? Or shall I just take it to BMW and pay them to code it for me? Thank you! I could but wasn’t sure if ISTA will try to flash too - I only used Esys for flashing as ISTA without ICOM can be unreliable?
