Hey guys,
first of all, i´m a new member and i really love this forum.
My car is an F20 M135i xDrive from 2014. I got the NBT EVO ID4 System in my car.
A friend of mine, sent me a full ID5 System, included Headunit, Controller and Display. So my question is, is it possible to replace the older System with the newer one and then programming, or is this even impossible.

Which programm do i need for flashing? ISTA only?
The biggest reason, i want the newer ID-System is the different zooming in Navigation Map.
Till ID4 you have to turn the Controller"circel" to the right side to zoom in, since id5 you have to turn it to the left side, so much better

Depending on the firmware version on the ID5 unit, it may not even need flashing - likely just oding and activating to your VIN.
