Solution G3x LCI Tail lights - Airbus - 23-06-2022
Did any1 find a solution to retrofit (permanentely workin!!) LCI tail lights?
Its possible to install and code everything working like a charm BUT after 255 lifecycles the breaklight channel is locked due to a fault memory entry "short circuit outer break light left / right.
The interesting thing is that the driver wont recognise anything! No check control nor error is shown. Only the guy behind the car can see that the outer break lights are not workin anymore.
So the main reason should be that the preLCI vehicles are equipped with BDC-2, the LCI vehicles with BDC-3. I tried to check the coding parameters of both ecus but its a never ending story... most of the coding flags are renamed or not existing

btw: there is NO *HOWORT* HELC for G3x series!!

There are fdl codes that get rid of brake lamp error.

It does not work on US car though - tested and confirmed. ECE only

I'm not sure about US spec, for ECE spec, BDC2 need at least 21-07 and with HELC for the G30/G31 LCI tail light retrofit kit.
