BMW F22 instrument cluster virgin - lustek - 25-06-2022
Hi,
Could somebody tell me how to remove needles from this cluster? I want to make them virgin.
Trying method like in e60 or e90 but it wont work....

Did you remove the back cover to see if you can access the eeprom without removing the needles? Needles you simply pry up with a small plastic trim tool.

This is backside, no eeprom.
Trying pry up with fingers but no luck
EDIT: trying also with trim tool. Needles stuck, dont want to broke anythink. There need to be another way....

only one way, remove needles, pay attention to cruise flat, virginize 35128WT, 100% Mode1, use CG Pro or Yanhua emulator, reposition the needles with extreme precision, they may be out of line or not very fluid

BMWZone could you check my reading. Looks good but, CGDI show only 1152 KM. Its strange because, related to my reading, this cluster is from X1 F48 11/2018 year...
In mode2 show 0KM, so its mode1 100%

Yes Mode1, mileage confirmed, obvious Mode2 show 0, mileage is in other place, first two lines are always 00 00

This file it's manipulated, whoever gave it to you didn't do a good job, I write FF the areas that after coding will write new VIN.

Kombi can't be seen in ISTA tree, it's in red but most of things are working only not: RPM, Fuel gauge and KM which I have write but no red dot.
When driving odometer is changing and count meters and kilometres.
What could be the problem?
