Peugeot Partner B9 - no com with BSI thru J2534 - gyver - 25-06-2022

Hi,

I am using official DiagBox to communicate with a Peugeot Partner B9 (2016) thru a J2534-compatible VCI.

DiagBox identifies all ECUs except BSI, which states No Response.

Car is working just fine, so apparently BSI is ok. Also, I guess all diagnostic communication passes thru BSI on CAN DIAG, so apparently that is also OK as I can talk to e.g. engine ECU, cluster, radio etc.

Any ideas what could make BSI not reply to diagnostics?

I've never tried the diag system like yours but did you try it on other PSA vehicles of similar year (full CAN cars). If the problem shows the same it could be the J2534 not supported well on the PSA dual CAN networks which BSI CAN is another from power train network (ISO CAN).
