Does anyone know and can share experience about coding lightweight 40AH battery for M4? Previously had 69AH

If you are replacing the original battery with some sport light-weight aftermarket, you need to consider the lack of controllers inside the latter. As far as I remember, there is no IBS-related part in the aftermarket battery and you'll need to get external IBS-sensor being connected to get rid of errors.

There is no original solution to fit other than original 69AH battery, neither a coding solution. Fitting a AGM battery will also give you battery errors and is not codeable.

F87 M2 competition comes without lithium battery, and same S55 DME so you can use the settings from F87
