Does anyone happen to have the original file for Kess in the newer version? My diagnostic device tells me that there should be a newer version...

DO NOT upgrade SW in the ECU with Kess, you will f**k the immobilizer.
Get yourself a tool that can flash SGO / FRF and upgrade with that.
Might be a newer version out there but not same SW Upgrade name. If you would have left the VIN intact then could have been checked.
