Is it NBT or NBTEVO? If patch not work, you need to flash.

Tell us which headunit or post the VIN of the car.
Check FSC status in esys and post in this thread, then we can help

If you just replaced headunit with the same type, you just need to change new unit vin and install fsc from repair kit.

Which unit do You have exactly ? NTB, EVO ID4 or ID5/6 ?
With older firmware there was posibility to delete FSC via Tool32. I think it work up to 11-18 iLevel

In tool32, use NBT.PRG and use function " _steuern_delete_persistency_intel_plus_swt " and enter the SWT argument. This will clear all old FSC codes and certificates from the previous car. Then in E-SYS go to the Expert Mode> FSC Extended tab and use the WriteDataByIdentifierVIN function and enter your VIN number. This will change the VIN number in the unit. Later, write the FSC and cert from the repair kit from ASAP.
