use SA helper to find the comaptible zusb to select

Tried that, it gives every ZB for that unit and the options doesn't list by variant. I think that's how it wound up in this mess to start with.

In comfort mode when you select the ecu module instead of entering the zusb what number does it show when you try to flash it?

You seem to have istap. Run measures plan, see ZB suggested,, use WNKFP.
