Android Auto is not possible to activate on NBT Evo but carplay is possible. I can send you contact for activation, send me private message .

On ID5/ID6 works only screen mirroring for Android phones, Android Auto only on ID7 and ID8.

You still can retrofit MMI box to get both AndroidAuto and Carplay (wirelessly), not to mention other things like mirroring, HDMI input, USB, etc. It works quite well.
