Lexus, all keys lost - al70 - 13-10-2022

Hi all, my friend had his home burgled and they took the old Lexus 3.0, 2jz, I think it's 1999 or 2000 model year, that's all the info I have for now, the car was retrieved but no keys, he got a new ignition just in case the scumbags came back for it, I'll get some pics of the ECU when I get a chance, is immo off possible ? Any input is appreciated, cheers all.

1. read eeprom from ecu

2. make the original transponder
3. remove the cylinder from the door
4. Cut the key
5. then everything will be in the original

The original door locks are in the trash, after the car was recovered, he changed all the door locks and ignition in case the burglars came back, he went to Toyota dealership and they wanted crazy money to put the car going again, I believe he's putting the engine into a Supra so he asked me was immo off possible, I will post some pics later to see if it's possible, cheers.

changed the locks and wants immo off?
It is better to do it in the original and install additional protection

wink

Yeah, this happened 5 years ago, car has been lying up since, I searched the car for the ECU today and I can't for the love of me find it, only place I haven't checked is the boot, I'm unable to access it, anyone know where it is located in this car ?

He went to Toyota and money was crazy, house insurance didn't cover the car, he changed the locks and ignition out of fear of the thieves coming back, I told him I'd try to help him, thanks for your input
