Request for help in selecting ZB WinKFP - Cowboy - 16-10-2022 Hi guys, I have an e81 bench and would like to use WinKFP to update MSD81.2. The problem is I can't do this in Comfort mode. The ZB number as shown in INPA is not included in WinKFP. Theoretically, I know how to find the correct number for this VIN, but to be sure, I am asking for support. I think that someone previously combined something with this ecu and uploaded a very old ZB. I just wonder for what purpose? Maybe the power reduction was the reason for this? Full VIN: WBAUA71000VE63488 will ZB 8687960 be correct? Thank you in advance for your help and best regards RE: Request for help in selecting ZB WinKFP - jaramillo - 16-10-2022 I think could be the one related in image 8687836 RE: Request for help in selecting ZB WinKFP - hojo29 - 16-10-2022 MSD81.2 is from an E60 So you can flash it with E60 data and winkfp should find it automatically. New ZB 8688062 RE: Request for help in selecting ZB WinKFP - Cowboy - 17-10-2022 (16-10-2022, 18:23 PM)jaramillo Wrote: I think could be the one related in imagewhat program is this preview from? This does not match the production code UA71 assigned to the VIN. I bought this MSD as a kit with a key and CAS (for educational purposes). It cost ridiculous money. Now I think I know why. Now I am wondering which ZB should best fit the production code. Yours suggests it's for the 2007. WinKFP does not select the correct one for the car. The problem is I can't do this in Comfort mode. The ZB number as shown in INPA is not included in WinKFP. Your ZUSB (7621396) is known (folder "MSD812") and the actual ZUSB is 8688062. RE: Request for help in selecting ZB WinKFP - Cowboy - 18-10-2022 As I wrote earlier, the ZB which is now saved in the ecu (7621396) does not match the production code UA71. Perhaps someone has uploaded a different flash before - I do not know. In my opinion, it makes no sense to upload 8688062 because it will still not match the production code. RE: Request for help in selecting ZB WinKFP - bmchicago - 19-10-2022 if there is any doubt, then use ISTA/p to calculate correct ZUSB first. and then use WINKFP to program it, or just follow up with ISTA/p to do the programming. RE: Request for help in selecting ZB WinKFP - Cowboy - 19-10-2022 ISTA can only be useful if everything is correct (current ZB and production code). In my case it says that the wrong DME / DDE is mounted and it is completely logical. |
