BMW F11 audio settings keeps resetting - tomaxsas - 24-10-2022
Hi. Retrofitted Harman audio from basic to F11 BMW. It has HU Champ, all works fine, but L7 surround and Equalizer settings keeps resetting after car goes to sleep. Could this be related to battery, it has a bit weak one.
Or due to amp, because it's from 2011 car, but F11 is 2012 built, and esys complains a bit about hwel for AMP

Not sure if related, but have you wired an additional power supply from terminal 30F as required by HK? As basic Hifi only gets 30B which is switched off as soon as car goes to sleep.
If battery is weak, 30F will also be frequently switched off however.

Car had basic, not Hi-Fi. All wiring done accordingly newtis, 30f terminal is connected, big wire via 40A fuse. 30b also connected. A thougth to uograde amp, but need to tinker more with esys as its comolains due to it being older unit i guess.
