Golf 7 Driving mode Swap activation, help! - ofektal8 - 07-11-2022
Hello, I Got myself the Original driving mode activation kit and been looking for ways of installing it.
Found some guides online which say that you need to revert all modules back to stock
But I was wondering if it is possible to get my stock gateway( which is not on my car)
connect it to ODIS S using an "MQB bench wiring harness", code it online and then activate driving modes, then take my retrofitted gateway from my car and restore the FECs online to it and connect it to my car.
This way seems easier than reverting the car to stock, removing CP from each module, coding online each module, activating swap, then reinstalling retrofitted modules.

Oh I forgot to mention that in the guides i read most of them sold stock modules like 5f and dashboard, so what they did is just diaconnect them for the activation process.
Thats why im asking if its possible, if you can disconnect modules, maube you only need the gateway for activation?
