Communication error with Xentry PT and interface - BMWFXX - 08-11-2022
Hello mates,
I have an MB Xentry passthru account and bought this adapter in order of MB
1. Execute Xentry PT,
2.Selected PT list I can only find "DoIP"
3. After selecting this DoIP option Xentry can not communicate with my new OBD interface when want to communicating with the car.
I think the setup is not right.
Any experience with this OBD2 Star Cooperation interface?
I ask Star Cooperation for drivers but they don't answer me about that.
They said the OBD interface is made especialy for XentryPT and has to work.
I tried the Xentry PT with AVDI J2534, CanTiecar J2534 all the same problem.
No communication
Any one can help me with this problem?

Thas only doip, you will need a interface for can to be able to comunicate with the car.

Not all J2534 devices are supported and those that are provide different communication capabilities, if at Xentry startup it doesn't offer your devices, make sure you have installed the drivers correctly (should be selectable).

I test with AVDI and CANtiecar J2534, same problem.
But Star Cooperation OBD2 should work.

No, there is no connection between the eobd connector and the rj45 in that adapter, if you want to connect to the can by another means you have those bananas but it is not a can or passthru adapter.
To use an SD Connect it is best to install the XDOS version.

I need to reflash the engine ecu that's why I ordered the XPT.
Is it possible to do with XDOS online flash updates and coding?

Buy an original openport tatrix if you have original account.

Yes, but only for DOIP vehicles, forget about any process that requires an online connection if you do not have a legitimate account.

if you have legit account xentry pt , then yes original openport tatrix ( not clone from china ) will work ok for online engine ecu flash.
