Are there any known issue that should be aware of installing ISTA on a second drive or partition?

I have previously used Sedoy's installer and used D: instead of C: - worked no problems.

Same here, Ista is installed on D:, I did the installation with his installer

I even have Sedoy's ISTA+ running from an external SSD through USB. Of course it only works when drive is connected, but otherwise working the same as on an internal drive.

same here, you only have to adjust the paths in the file istalauncher-x64.reg.

I've just re-installed on a replacement laptop that only had a 500GB SSD, using and external 1TB U|SB drive - works perfectly - although it did take forever to install as Windows unpacked files and pushed across to the external drive!

I open the download from Sedoy with a script, launch it and install it on any HDD, where you specify it. everything is working.
InstallLocation still needs to be corrected in the reg file
