A6 C7 MIB2 Retrofit - brag288 - 19-12-2022
I have a pre fl a6 c7 that i retroffited mib2 in
I have no sound as bose amp needs to also be replaced.
But what is bugging me most is i cant get rid of CP
I used odis,it says it removes but it still shows CP active.
Could it be because i also need a new GW?
The firmware i installed on the mib also said it would get rid of CP,but no luck

just to confirm for other people that might try to retrofit MIB2.
Gateway from facelift car was also required in order to get rid of CP.

Just to add more info for anyone that will need in future since i'm a nice guy and like to contribute to the community.
For a working mib2 you will need the following
gateway from facelift car
amp if you have bose(might need newer one for b&o too,dont know since i only have bose)
instrument cluster as well since most goes from mib to instrument cluster if cluster not compatible it will not pass info in most ring forward to amp and back to mib)
Might need new camera module as well since traffic sign doesnt sync with mib so i have "currently restricted" error and mib shows traffic sign and cluster shows different traffic sign(what it sees on the road itself).
Basically they don't communicate with the camera module correctly.
