VMAX F95 Comp with 7ME - weinerbarn - 10-01-2023
I used Bimmer Utility and made backups of my vehicle F95 Comp with 7ME (M Drivers Pkg). All FA/VO is factory ordered, no mods yet. I then started looking at the various settings and noticed under the DME, the VMAX is set to 250km. This should be at least 285 based on my research.
If I use SVT Compare in Bimmer Utility and toggle 7ME on/off, it does not show any changes will be made to vmax.
I've used VIN decoder, looked at the build sheet in the car and compared against what ISTA says. All software says I have 7ME from factory but vmax shows wrong value. Any ideas?

Hello,
That kind of upgrades usually need FSC and chage of software.... not via coding...unless you reset working hours...
Better get a tune..

I don‘t know for sure on f95 but mostly bmw uses vmax lookup tables (variantenkodiert) in flash of ecu.
One of these is 285 and is only used with drivers package. So i think all is okay.
