BMW Remote 3D View remove country restriction - flausatu - 21-01-2023
Hello. Is there any coding solution to remove Remote 3D View country restrictions.
(Im interested for 2018 G30)
GiveWay warnings are also affected by the same country restrictions unfortunately.

As far as i know you can remove the country restrictions for features of the Driving Assistant Professional.
The Remote 3D View is probably based on the cars position and the BMW backend will simply deny the feature when in certain countries.
The last time i tried it in Austria it went like this:
Open MyBMW app, starting Remote 3D View, BMW backend tries to wake up the car, car wakes up and sends the current location to the BMW backend, BMW backend denies the request because the car is in a restricted country and sends an error message back to the MyBMW app.

No because it’s physical restricted in BMW Server . Once you use My BMW app, all requests goes to server , then only comes to vehicle. If the server see restricted area, it’s not allowing to do it.
It’s like use Drone and flight under restricted areas
