Hi,

Here is face down (LED side) of five microprocessor electronics boards of XS EVOLUTION interfaces.

Two of them, in this case the two electronic boards to the left in the photo above,
have communication problems on CAN bus, and particularly on FULL CAN vehicles.
These two cards out:

The three others, here, do not have this concern:

When you look carefully at the two cards down, one perceives a missing component here:

This is a 10Kohms resistor (marking 103); PULL UP resistor placed on the CAN line that comes
the PIN P94 / TXO microprocessor MB90F546GS and then passes through the logic of HA08 before reaching the optocoupler HCPL 063N!

So if you have CAN communication problems with your interfaces, you can already take a look to see if this resistance is present!
Pending your back ...

Regards.

Thanks in advance

Good Morning,
I have just been updating the firmware with Scary interface tool, during update cable got unplugged, and now the unit fails to respond. Green light is on but Scary's interface checker does not show anything.
Is it possible to re-flash using another way?
any help appreciated.
Thank you.

Best regards
Andy

Greetings @titoun, and thanks for the post. In my case, the problem I have is that they flashed the VCI, and they have changed the serial number (it had 921815C, and after flashing it now it has 963830C, which for the latest versions of diagbox, it seems that o OK). Since then, when I start Diagbox, and try to connect to the vehicle (the first time, after changing firmware to test, update the interface), it does not read the VIN of the vehicle and does not even "click" the VCI relays. In the photos in your post, I see that there is one that matches mine, that is, it does not have that resistance, but, of course, I do not know if it is due to that, or that perhaps the VCI has become useless when changing the number of series....thank you...
