2018 Audi Q5 need help with sunroof coding - virusmind - 14-02-2023
Hi all. I have 2018 Q5 which came from the auction without sunroof control module. Got used one, but now need long code for it. Because panoramic roof doesn't function correctly. And there is codes about no basic settings for sunroof and roof shade, and incorrect coding. Will I be able to get it coded with odis online? Or can somebody get me long coding by vin number?? Thanks in advance!!

It is possible to check the fault code online or remotely, and then conduct the next detection

Will try it again when car comes back to me. We tried multiple codings, but still no luck. I did guided function for basic settings for sunshade and sunroof with autel/x431, even with odis. It does its routine - sunshade rolls all the way back then forward, sunroof opens and closes all the way, but at the end of the function I get an error message that none of them had been normed and error codes no basic settings.. even if I do it manually via login/basic settings/normalisation. This car drives me crazy because I don't know history of this car and why someone did take remove this module from it. And I'm not exactly sure about source of current module and if it even works properly. But thanks for your reply anyways

Little update. Went ahead and tried online SVM and coding wit odis online today and got an error message that the module is not compatible with this car. Ordered brand new module from dealer. Will get it by Tuesday. Will post any updates on this case later.
