G20 - 2023 - iDrive 8 Coding - bmw335d - 21-02-2023
Anyone have any success coding iDrive 8, specifically video in motion and intermittent flashers increase to 5, remove amber in headlights and memory remembering for start / stop

Only modules locked down from my knowledge for the G20 LCI are DKOMBI8 and WAVE (ATM 5G), since the platform is still on SP18 (BDC3).
You're able to code MGU21, such as the 5 times turn signal, however VIM is not possible currently due to the button combination to get into the speedlock menu is not functional.
There shouldn't be an issue with DME either to code auto start stop, since it's not locked down by Coding 2.0.
As for the amber sidemarkers, there appears to be an issue disabling them with Matrix LED CAFDs. I had an issue on my F98 LCI where when I tried to disable the amber sidemarkers thru VO coding FLM2, the sidemarkers became permanently on instead of off. So will have to investigate what parameters are responsible for sidemarkers to disable them.

Depending on current iLevel and exact MGU model installed there IS a secure coding MGU in S18:

Ah okay, that makes sense.
The last S18A vehicle I’ve done with ID8 was a G20 LCI (6C4 and 6WC) but it had HU_MGU_01-HU on 07/2022 i-Step.
I’m assuming MGU_02 is found on later production models for S18 with ID8?

First MGU doesn't have secure coding both on ID7 and ID8 at least for now, but MGU2 has
If we talk about S18 series, G07 LCI has MGU, but G05 LCI has MGU2, for example
