Hey guys, i updated ista 4.39.20 to these versions using 4.40.12 using ista launcher. All went well but now i get an error when launching:
The database versions are incompatible with each other please contact your support team. There may also be an incomplete installation.

ISTA, diag data and local data MUST be same versions. Now your ISTA is too old.

I ran a registry file i found to skip check for use of different dbs now it works, should be good yea?

Define "good". It will start. Period. You WILL get various exceptions/missing text/etc while running ISTA. IMHO NOT good.

Just use the launcher console app to upgrade the SDP and BLP.
