No it is not removed you need to de logged in and even with free account you will have VPN possibility.

version 15.37 VPN still works fine. Radmin VPN is a good solution, ping is much more stable (compared)

Sometimes when you are not able to ping remote PC and dont want to play around with firewall just run Remoteenet and activate.
