Live Cockpit HWEL - BusyBox - 05-04-2023 Maybe someone with more experience may know - other than With and Without HUD are there more HWEL numbers (besides HWEL_0000467F (with HUD), HWEL_00004680 (without HUD)) for these DKOMBI4 modules. I need to replace one in 2020 G01 with HUD, but there are tens of different part numbers, its insane... Factory installed are not present in ETK, so plenty of different part numbers. Also With and Without camera module for Plus/Professional Driving assistance. I need to find one that will not require replacement when programmed with dealer ISTA. Such a mess RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - Node - 05-04-2023 Everything elementary. There are NO other HWELs (except differences in minor versions). Part numbers change along with preflashed firmware versions! Can't tell anything more without any real way to identify you current module... HOWEVER, these are linked using IPSEC to MGU (at least). Dealer will have to install appropriate security certificates. And that is TRICKY on used units. Be prepared to explain where and how the replacement unit comes from. RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - BusyBox - 05-04-2023 Can this be done with E-Sys and AOS Ecu validation? I've done that, but with new modules, not used ones. RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - Node - 05-04-2023 There are people on this forum who say that is possible, but I never tried myself with the used module... Just understand that your AOS account will be logged as obtaining certs for this specific part. So if it comes from stolen vehicle... Well, you may find yourself in the trouble. RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - BugFix - 05-04-2023 For HWEL 0000467F (IC_HIGH-BO_G4_1-IC) (KOMBI WITH HUD) (IKOMBI HIGH 12,3 Zoll mit HUD-Anschluss - TEMP-Variante) Part nubers: 9432483 9877661 9855872 9858602 9836931 9432607 9824967 7928163 5A065A9 5A07ED0 5A0C6E9 5A03189 5A076A3 5A0B388 5A0F1E9 5A1C198 5A223D9 5A2A6C1 5A2BDB9 5A27158 5A2FC50 5A4B489 5A57794 5A42BC6 5A4FD73 5A58889 5A5A9F3 5A671B4 5A762C9 But for compatibility, you need to know the version which exactly from 0000467F_003_002_000 ............ to 0000467F_003_08_000 RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - BusyBox - 06-04-2023 Damaged one is: 5A0F1E9, so probably anything newer (down the list) will be compatible. I'm being offered brand new 5A1E651 which ironically is not listed ... Will it fit? RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - Mwahab - 08-04-2023 Best way to use ISTA AOS to determine the part after tal calculation, because even if the part is compatible, sometimes ista still bug with incorrect hwel RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - Node - 08-04-2023 5A0F1E9 is HWEL 0000467F_003_004_000. HWEL 0000467F_003_004_000 had following numbers depending on firmware versions: 5A03189 5A076A3 5A0B388 5A0F1E9 So these will definitely be compatible and ISTA will not complain. 5A1E651 is NOT in KIS database AT ALL! So ISTA will most probably complain. P.S. Sometimes I see these strange part numbers which are not in KIS. Their HWELs most frequently are below production HWELs. I wonder if those come from some kind of engineering/preproduction/test rigs (could even be not cars at all)... RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - simzep - 08-04-2023 (08-04-2023, 16:21 PM)Node Wrote: I wonder if those come from some kind of engineering/preproduction/test rigs (could even be not cars at all)... Thats most likely the case. I came across a few of those "unknown" part numbers in southern Bavaria. Apparently the workers at BMW can buy parts from preproduction and test cars for pennies and then they end up on the second hand market. RE: Live Cockpit HWEL - BusyBox - 08-04-2023 I ended up buying part number 5A27158, which is half an year newer than original unit, and lower mileage. So lets hope it’s origin is not problematic. Last time I did online validation of second hand unit using E-Sys and AOS it went without problems. Fingers crossed… |
