Hi guys i have question maybe someone do it already. Patient A klass 2013 1.6 turbo petrol engine M270 122 hp i don't want to tuned so i was thinking to upgrade to 156 hp by software. M270 engine in version 122 and 156 are exactly same , did someone tray to change coding in MED40 and then update software from version 156HP ?? I was doing that many time in sprinter diesel OM651 never in petrol engine so if someone can give advice ??
my coding now maybe someone can help and suggest what to change

Try change "Motor_Hubraum", if you can.

You have that encoding in MED40, but you won't be able to modify it

My plan is change Motor_Hubraum in MED40 and EIS then software update on MED40. You say that its not possible to change in MED40 ?? why ??

It just won't apply the change, no errors, you can try it without fear of damaging anything.

You can just try it, but just it won't apply the change.
Maybe there is some tricks to do it, but I don't know.

Ok guys thanks, i order new/used ECU from a200, I will solve problem on table and will let you know with solution for change 122 to 156.

Good luck, I tried it with one of my vehicles and only what I have indicated happened. I already have the shelled eggs of sharing solutions and, as expected, I did not get minimally valid or useful information in the forum.

one of possible solutions is to read eeprom, find variant coding string *implicit coding* in eeprom, change hubraum byte, write to ECU, flash software.
