Carplay Android Auto activation on ID7 MGU (with/without ATM) - tcp443 - 04-05-2023
hi guys,
recently i saw some china guys offering carplay/android auto activation for ID7 MGU remotely for cars with and without ATM.
from what i have known,
if car has ATM: there is a provisioning hack.
if car has no ATM: need to purchase CP/AA FSC from BMW
however, the guys are now able to do it without purchasing FSC from BMW for cars without ATM.
Does anyone have any idea on how to go about:
1) doing the provisioning hack thing for MGU ID7? I tried as what was done for EVO but it does not work.
2) how do they fool the EVO to enable Carplay/AndroidAuto without original FSC for cars without ATM?
Any pointers on where or how to check will be appreciated.

I saw some people selling on ebay for 50$ activation for this,so im guessing they are using the same tricks you mention here,dont see how they would sell otherwise for that cheap when oem fsc costs like 350e+

No one will tell or write the solution but a lot of guys are doing it wit or without ATM. Mgu id7 cracked via remote or on bench a lot of guys are doing the crack or whatever they call it.
Also Kafas 3/4 has also tool for fsc pack but seller refuses to show it for trial etc. Some Russian guy only talks from exploit.im

by remote u mean feature installer or remote as in team viewer and stuff?

There is no CarPlay for MGU in HU Engineering Tools (feature installer).

There is no CarPlay for MGU in HU Engineering Tools (feature installer).
Unfortunately both of them don't have that feature
