Enet connection not working on FEM cars - egoy936 - 17-05-2023

Hello,

I’m having an issue where I can’t connect fem cars but I can to CAS4/ ZGW module cars with enet. Basically Esys or remote to enet can not find a vin. It’s such a weird issue.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

F and G Chassis cars could use ENET.

Ethernet in OBD was introduced with F series (F01). It won't work on E series. That said do you have ethernet link at all on FEM? If so what is your IP config???

Yes I know this is trivial! I am using enet on both fem and CAS 4 cars as they are f series!

Yes I know! I am using enet. I tried 2 f10s I can connect and pull a IP and vin

I tried 3 f30s with fem and I could not pull an IP/vin number.

Make sure you are not on a static IP, and then I would also try windows safe mode with networking. I have seen a few laptops with other software that interferes with ENET communication.

I do have bmw explorer which I know shuts down enet when opened. But this program was shut and not running in task manager
